This is just a feeler ad, I don't have pics as the block and crank are at the machine shop. If someone is seriously interested I will get pics for them.
The block is an LS7 block with a 4.125" bore. I believe it was bought new from GM as it doesn't have a VIN on it.
The rotating assembly consists of the following:
4.000" 4340 Callies Dragon Slayer crank
Manley H-beam rods
Diamond Pistons Forged Dished Piston set w/ -7cc Dish 126-11522
The rod bearing on #5 spun. I am not sure why as I bought the motor in that condition. The damage is at least .020" deep. All of the other rod journals look good. Main bearings were good. The rotating assembly has around 2000 miles on it. It was run with N2O. 26 tooth reluctor wheel.
It would cost $5750 to buy this stuff new (block $2900, crank $1500, pistons $750, rods $650). And there are many ways to repair it (weld crank, turn it, straighten it and reharden it is $505), turn and harden crank for .030 bearings is $330, put in a new crank that is not as high dollar ($600), etc.
If you are interested let's talk. Local sale only as I want the buyer to inspect and understand exactly what he is getting prior to buying.
