I'm debating selling my 408. It's a 6.0 based LSx. Its located in Omaha NE, 68112. The block has been machined, checked out and ready to go. The block isn't brand new, Its used, but checked out and no problems. It has ARP main studs, also, ARP 12 pt head studs that go with it.

The crank I bought from Excessive Autosports in Soiux Falls, SD, Is a eagle 4340 and is out of one of their race motors. It's used, but fresh from the machine shop also. It was turned .10 on the mains, but standard rods. The crank is this one,
http://www.jegs.com/i/Eagle/356/4347...oductId=757287

The rods are Lunati H-beam rods with the ARP2000 bolt upgrade. These rods are brand new in the box. I opened one to look at it, but thats it. This is the rods, minus the ARP2000 bolts. (Ignore the fact they are on sale :rofl

The pistons are Diamond 4.030 bore 11568 nitrous pistons. They are also brand new in the box. They have about every upgrade you can check. H-13 tool steel wrist pins, steel rings, everything. They were well over 1,000 new.

Now, Whats a bad *** shortblock, If it doesnt have the valvetrain to match? thats right, nothing! (and not what im trying to sell here) The lifters are Morel Solid Link-Bar Roller Lifter Set, GM LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, and LS7 Applications. These are still in the box, never opened.

Part number 184-5452-SR

The cam is a Crane Cams model #1448041. Never used just bought and tucked away. It's huge, but rember, serious here..
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRN-1448041/

The rockers are Comp cams (made by T&D, just inspected by T&D, and returned with clean bill and a few extra bolts and parts) Their 1.8 ratio.
http://www.texas-speed.com/p-1219-co...1-rockers.aspx

I'll also include the tall sheetmetal valve covers to clear these. Also brand new in the box.

New prices, you're looking at over 6,000. (trust me it is.) Clearly nothings assembled, but if we work out a deal, I could get it done. It's for sure a bad *** motor minus heads. (2600 bucks could finish this motor) With everything pictured, I'd like to see around 4500 OBO plus shipping. I'm open to offers and trades of course. i'm mostly looking for nicer 6 bolt heads. I have many other parts. Mild ported super vic intake, oil pans, almost everything. I'm giving up on this motor. Let me know, Thanks!
