i dont think it was made for the ls1 the guy i got it from had it on his big block all he told me was it will stall where ever you want it to when i asked him the same question.

got ahold of coan, going to submit my form to try n get more info on the convertor...He did say they had it in for a freshing up in 97' and if I didnt get lie'd to i should have one more restall on it. waiting to hear back from them again. It's to much for my set-up. I have no need for a 8" convertor.

part#20530 th350/400 with 10 3/4 bolt pattern
7/16 bolts
steel stator
should work on LS1 with Jegs adapter
rebuilt by coan in 97' coan has all info on this 1100-1300 dollar converter
cant give stall numbers because it will stall different for the combo it's in, came out of a nirtrus big block 468 mc kinney racing if I remember right.
for $400 your getting a hell of a deal even if you have to send it in for a restall.
