Default NITTO 555Rs LIKE NEW! *SOLD*

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $12345
Location (State): NC
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9, LS1/LS6, LT1/LT4, Small Block, Big Block
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

Two like new Nitto 555R drag radials. 275/40/17. I made about 9 passes on these and drove on for about 500 miles, so they show zero wear. No street burnouts ever, only burnouts were on the track and only for 9 passes. I bought these tires about a month ago, but have since taken the tires off and put my street tires back on for the winter. I could use the money more than an extra set of tires at the moment, so thats why I'm selling. I pulled a 1.6 60' out of these tires on a 2800 stall, so don't let anyone tell you Nittos don't hook.

Priced these too high hence the edit..just make some reasonable offers fellas.

*SOLD*

I was just letting you know lol
When i bought the reg 555s 275-40-17 last spring they were $154 now they are $132 lol
Im debating whether to buy a another set of 555s and use the older set as drag tires next summer. Since I have a V6 and not a lot of HP haha

Did you have to do quite a burnout to get them to hook? I know I wont have to worry with the power level of my car lol. I just heard they need a good burnout to hook

Yea man, you need to heat them up pretty good to pull 1.6-1.8s on them. With that said, they still hook ten times better than my street tires even without a burnout. I can spin my street tires at 45 mph if I go WOT. I can push the Nittos pretty hard from a dig on the street and they'll grab pretty good as long as I let off a tad as soon as I feel them break loose, at which point they usually dead hook. My Hankooks won't even think about doing that.

With a good warm up, I can leave as hard as my 2800 stall will let me and I make around 400 at the wheels.
