I have one set of Bridgeway H beam connecting rods. These rods are made in China. They're the same exact rods sold by at least one well known parts company. They're 4340, bushed pin end, with ARP 2000 bolts. They retail for over $700.

Where did you get these? I was unable to find any information on them anywhere, especially who might be selling these.

They look nice. All USA or Japan tooling used to make them. I think I just found a new source for a cheap 383 kit...

Why does it matter where I got them? There's a label in the picture which clearly shows the manufacterers name.

I meant the price you have posted.... Not the quality.

I'm selling them way below their retail prices. The rods retail over 700 a set, and the cranks retail over 1100. Once these are gone, I won't have any more at these prices.

It matters because I was trying to see how much they actually are sold for. Numerous times I see people say "I paid xxxx for these" And they are quoting an MSRP price that they are normally sold at a much cheaper price.
Thanks for being a dick about it though. GLWS

I'm not being a dick about it, I'm asking a legit question. What does it matter where I got them, or for that matter, what I paid for them?

Just so it makes you feel good, here is one place they're selling for the price I mentioned.

http://www.briancrower.com/makes/chevy/ls_rods.shtml

Again, doesn't matter where I got them, or what I paid for them. I specifically stated where they were made, and even posted a pick of the label, with the manufacturerers name and logo.

I knew you meant price wise, not quality wise, but I also thought you meant that Bridgeway would be a cheap (inexpensive) source for stroker parts, which they are not. Sorry for the misunderstanding there.

Then My apologies for thinking you were. To me it matters where you bought them because I have a local company here that will price match from the retailer. If you could beat theres, I would buy yours instead.
I also had asked to see more information about the company/rod like the guy above posted (in pdf format).
Thank you, Ill see what the price comes back as.

Click on the "buy now". They're 715.00. And sure, I'll price match. I'll gladly sell them to you for that instead of my posted price.

The link doesnt have them listed as the company you have posted. Is that box what BC would send me?
I guess what Im asking is how do I do that the BC rods are just repackaged ones that you have.

WTF man? Bridgeway is the manufacturer. Bridgeway manufactures for multiple companies, BC being one of them. They also manufacture for 2 or 3 companies I'm sure you've heard of. Most of those companies don't want to tell you who is manufacturing for them. It's not my place to tell you or anyone else who they manufacture for. If you cannot see that they are the same identical part, I don't know what to tell you.
