John Lingenfelter designed the cam in 2001 to be the perfect camshaft for boosted LSx applications. The GT7 was 208/230 @.050 valve lift and .554/.546 and 121 center line this camshaft produced excellent power and still had great street driveablity.
Im pretty sure the cam is new it came with my z06 but never had time to do the install ....price is obo so let me know guys great cam for boosted applications!

Iterested in the cam, just need to get some more info. if the cam was produced before 07 I am interested.
This came has been known to have issues on later production years. specifically 2007-2008. it was discontinued in 2008 for this reason and also they came out with the GT9 cam.
issue -The cores used to make these cams by comp were bad and even after heat treatment they would fail. I would call them and find out. anything after 2007 - 2008 is considered a bad core and should not be used. before 07 they are great cams. if you bought this from them you should get them to warranty it if it's new and made in 07-08.
