I have a used LS3 short block, its in good condition. Came from a race car, 6 races on it, GMPP LS3 crate engine. The car is dry sump. My plan was to quickly re build it with rings and bearing and put it in my car. Problem is my heads need a lot of work, and I'm running out of time. I'm curious if anyone would be interested in trading their running LS1/6 long block, or I could build this short block back to brand new and sell. Trade value as is;$2K or rebuild and sell for $3K. It is a 24X and 3 bolt cam setup right now, with what I believe is the '10 camaro oil pan. Keep in mind I dont need to sell this so low balling will do you no good.

I should add that in its current condition, you could throw it in your car and go just fine. I just dont see the point in not rebuilding it since its in short block form.

No iron blocks, no 97-98 blocks. What ever I do, the block (LS3 or LS1) will be going to ERL next winter for a 4.185 sleeve.

It is a wet sump. I don't think the corvette pan fits or fbody's though. It had a daily dry sump on it in the race car, therefore the oil pump, pickup, windage, and pan are brand new

If this does sell/trade, I have a set of 243's with 2k mile .650 lift prc springs and a LS6 intake and ported TB. These will be up for grabs too at that point.
