I have 2 Nitto Nt05 tires under 700miles on them, they were purchased brand new in April of last year. They have never been abused or spun they are still like new and yes they are awesome tires. The tires are at 6/32nd's (in the middle) and on the edges are at 7/32nd's. On Nitto's web site (http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/nt05#size) they show brand new they come at 7/32nds but im not sure if that really correct because when I got these they where under 7/32nd new. They have just been sitting in my shop since August of last year. I was holding on to them for spares. Well I no longer have the orignal Z06 19inch rims, I upgraded to ZR1 rims so will no longer need these. Im looking to sell local, but will ship if need be.
