I just dug up a hptuner hardware bundle that I had stored away for years.
I was able to log into my hptuner account and see that it is still but I cannot tell for which vehicles I KNOW one vehicle is a 98 LS1, but the other is a guess. I know it was a SUV or Truck, I think 2004.
If anyone knows how to check I would appreciate the info.
I am looking to start at $200 for the unit. It has the USB converter and everything. If you have a 98 LS1 I know this will work for you!

I believe it is regular, not sure. No cd, but if it did it would be incredibly old software you wouldn't use anyway. New version is free to download. CD was 1.0, new version is 2.2.4 I believe.
