Forgive my ignorance, but what is the benefit of the LS6 springs? I've seen the swap done quite often. I'm building a turbo 6.0 and trying to find used performance parts.
Thanks

The LS6 springs are stiffer than stock LS1 springs and are rated for more lift and matched for the LS6 cam specs.etc. That cam is .551 lift other stock LS1 cams are barely .510 or under .500 lift . They give you more seat pressure so you do no float the valves at higher RPM and they r made to last 100k miles and they are affordable/cheap. I buzzed mine over 6500 with no problems. The stock LS! springs and cam hit a wall and was dead before 6k. Hope that helps.
