Thompson Motorsports built forged Lq9 based 370

Everything was purchased brand new except for:
L92 Heads/L76 intake.. They are extremely low mileage.
Cam/springs/push rods.. They have roughly 5 miles on them. I bought them from a buddy that parted his l92 build. He had only drove around the block a couple times. New valve seals and seats.
Brand new parts:
ls7 lifters
oil pump
timing chain
entire short block
ls9 head gaskets
all new gaskets
lifter trays
I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting.

Cam is Texas Speeds 231/236 Ls3 cam: http://texas-speed.com/p-79-texas-sp...-camshaft.aspx
These springs: http://texas-speed.com/p-473-precisi...pring-kit.aspx

With the exception of those everything was bought 100% new or thoroughly disassembled/cleaned before it was put together.
I did all of the assembly of the top end/cam... TMS did all of the work on the short block and the assembly.

The entire build has roughly 1200 miles on it. It has 6 dyno pulls, maybe 15 WOT street pulls. This motor has never been sprayed. There are absolutely zero rattles/shakes/vibrations/squeaks/ticks/knocks/etc... The motor runs 100% perfect.

Built to handle a 300 shot and make roughly 500Rwhp on motor.. I told Kyle I had 800Rw in mind.. It was covered under warranty for that but he said it would easily support more than that.

With 62 miles on the setup and a 5000 converter it put down 437Rwhp and 406Rwtq. This was with 1 3/4 headers and a safe tune. Dyno on average reads around 12-15Rwhp low. With the new 3500 converter I was expecting 455Rwhp. On a more fair reading dyno it would have easily made 465Rwhp/420Rwtq.

I have any and all information you would need. I have documentation of almost everything including pictures, packages, and receipts. I can easily get you in contact with Kyle from Thompson Motorsports that can verify they did all the work and answer any questions he capable of.

I didn't cheap out or cut corners on anything with this build. Every little thing was done the right way and triple checked.

I had zero intentions of ever getting rid of this car or motor but since the wreck happened things changed. I didn't want a wrecked car and now have a 408 since I bought another car. I have no use for the 370.

PRICING:
$5000 for complete motor: short block, cam, all covers and pan, heads, intake injectors and fuel rails.. Ready to swap accessories and go.
$4800 minus intake: Everything minus the injectors fuel rails and intake.
$4100 minus heads: No intake setup, no heads, Will have entire short block including covers and oil pan, cam etc..
$3500 370 only.. No extras.

The only thing you need to do to put this in an Ls1 car is to extend the MAP sensor. You can splice the original one and extend it (what I did, extremely simple) or buy a 20$ connector that extends it long enough to reach the front of the intake. Other than that, you are ready to go.

If you have any questions feel free to ask... I can drive a reasonable distance to meet up (2.5 hours or closer is my meeting distance). Zip is 37398 or 37405.
I will entertain reasonable offers..

I can include a built 4l60e (12K miles) and a PTC 3500 converter (less than 1K miles) as well. I have the build sheet for it.

I can do a package price.. I will only sell the transmission if the motor sells first.

I will also sell the car complete as it sits. I am NOT parting it out right now. If the motor sells, then I will.. The motor HAS to sell first however before I part it.

Any and all documentation/boxes/instructions/anything I have will be included with the motor.

Just for clarification..

I ended up having an accident (nothing serious) a few weeks after finishing the build. I didn't want a wrecked car so I started looking for another car. The car I ended up buying (in sig and build thread) already had a 408 in it. I had plans to swap the 370 into whatever I bought but I have no use for it since I have the 408 now.

300+ views and not even an offer?

I had people begging to buy it the past 2-3 weeks but wasn't sure if I was going to let it go or not.
I have 2 people trying to shuffle some money around to pick it up. First come, first serve.

You're getting a brand new build guaranteed no problems, not even fully broke in yet.

11.9:1 I wanted to keep it pump gas friendly.

The heads could be milled with this cam a little to get the compression up a little bit more if you wanted.

I have a *possible* sale pending on the short block... As of now it is still FS however.

If it goes through I will still have:
complete heads
ARP studs
cam
UD pulley
valve covers
etc..

Just looking for interest. If the deal goes through I will have it all listed after the short block is gone.
