Used this twice on my LS1 and it works great. This isn't a cheap one this thing is VERY sturdy. I went through two cheap ones from Autozone with a hand crank on them and could not get my pilot bearing out.
I finally broke down and spent around $80 on this thing and had the bearing out in minutes.
It has a nice hex head to put a socket or wrench on so you can really crank on it and squeeze the bearing while pulling.
