Where does that adapter screw in? I am looking to keep the factory ECT sensor and run an aftermarket gauge as well.

I had this installed where the factory sensor would be, but on the pass side head where it was plugged off with an allen headed bolt.

Gotcha. How does one avoid an air(steam) pocket in the adapter? Sorry to be PIA over something that costs so little but these are the thoughts that have been holding me up.

Not sure I u/s the question...but all air in the head should be purged through one of the head vents that tie into the cooling system
