1)Does this Intake require cutting into your cowl to make it fit?
2)Is it compatible with the SLP Air Lid?
3)If not what's used in it's place?

1) I don't know if you would or not, it depends on what hood you have. I can tell you that the overall height from the lifter valley flange on the block is 12.32".
2)My guess would be yes with some creative plumbing, but you would have to try it and see.
3)A regular intake pipe and a standard K&N filter.
