Is that a big or small pinion? Any part number on the aluminum bearing cover? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure it will fit my stuff. Thanks

this is a big pinion and cover.. the gears I replaced these with are the small so I had to use a standard steel cover(same bolt pattern/interchangeable) in this strange aluminum cover's place and also why you are getting the bearings and such still on the pinion..

randy I would have to check but it believe it is a 9 and 39 count.. when I say its the big input its the higher splined input therefore a bigger diameter than a standard splined pinion, I am including the hub, the pinion bolt, the housing that is for the bigger pinion/bearings, pinion and ring gears..

So its a 35 spline pinion, not the stranded 28 spline pinion.

I am assuming you are correct, it is the 35 splined pinion, with a yolk..
