This is the part number, the tb is an 09-13 LS3 throttle body. From what I have read it has a better response to an LS2 tb and has a better design.

I do not believe this to be true information.

Also, LS3 gold blade TB's do not replace LS2 silver blade TB's as they function differently.

True, if you put a gold blade tb on a car originally equipped with a silver blade the car will throw a code.

The internal electronics are completely different between the two and pre '09 PCM's have trouble with them.

Damn! way to rain on my parade. Its not like I'm advocating that this TB is for an ls2 car. Oh by the way the LS3 TB is better designed next to an LS2 TB. Everyone crying about it opening opposite to an LS2 is well.......not well informed.

I must be crazy then because im running an LS3 TB on my 1999 C5 with no issues. Bottom line is this LS3 tb can be ran on any GM drive by wire but will need its PCM to be calibrated.
