The previous owner drilled a hole in the blade for a large cam, it's currently plugged with a bolt/locknut/loctite and has been for years without issue.
IAC intake and exit ports were ported to allow more idle airflow for better cold starts without the high idle that a hole in the blade causes.
For some reason I had to use a couple washers on one of the iac motor screws to get it tight, it was that way when I bought it years ago and the washers worked so I never messed with it. IAC hole does have silicone residue (my o ring was torn and the new IAC I installed didn't come with one so I used silicone)
