I have a calles compstar forged 4" stroke crank..I used in my 402. Two years ago I bent a forged rod. After rebuilding the car ran great for 2 years and a few weeks ago began to lose oil pressure. We yanked the motor and found that everything looked great except for rod bearing number 7 (the rod that bent 2 years ago) so we took the crank to a machine shop and sure enough the rod bearing journal for #7 is slightly off. In order to use this crank you will need to have the rod bearing journals machined down and run a slightly thicker rod bearing. The main's are fine. I have decided to go a different route, so I won't be turning it. I am selling as is. Asking 400 plus shipping, should be fairly cheap to get her turned and dialed in. Thank you. Please call or text me at 970-397-8307

I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I didn't just finish my 370 shortblock. If I didn't have to buy new pistons I probably would buy it. Always wanted a 408. Glws!
