So this was purchase a few years back. It's a K member for a V6. Now with that being said, I called spohn to see what it what the differences are between the v6 and v8 k member and they said just the motor mount plates. He said they could sell me the v8 motor mount plates.

Uhm...I read the thread. The fbody v8 kmember looks alot like that one, but the mounting pad wouldnt work, is there something special that spohn sells to make an ls mate to this v8 kmember?
V8 plates wont bolt to that pad...and they are obviously welded on, So unless spohn makes conversion mounts to bolt to v6 kmember, which i doubt...this things kinda useless.
Btw being a ******* dick, Isnt going to help you sell parts...I was interested, But probably not now.

Ok. The v8 and the v6 k member are identical except for the plates where the motor mounts bolt on. They are welded on. As they should be. To change them out you would cut the welds on the v6 plates and weld the v8 plates on. At least that's what I would do.
Oh and if you think I'm being a dick, well................. to bad. It's the internet. Everyone talks big behind a keyboard.

does this take the stock rack?
does it lower the v6 engine any form stock location?
where are you located?
i am doing a v6 build and trying to decide if i want to go this route or just leave the stock k member.
