Default NEW TSP 418ci shortblock

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $4500
Part Fits: 2010+ Camaro, 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO, 04+ Cadillac CTS-V

LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I am selling a brand new TSP LS3 based 418ci shortblock. I purchased this in 2010 started assembly and got as far as starting the torqueing process on the heads. Before I even finished the process I changed my build direction and unassembled and wrapped and covered engine and stored back on the cradle until I took it off today to take some pictures. There is no rust in cylinders and I have turned the engine occasionally. I still have the paperwork where I purchased from TSP. My name is Lee 615-653-2624. Feel free to call with questions or offers. Here are the specs

New LS3 block 4.065" bore. Full block work and prep. Vat block, line bore, install new cam bearings, bore hone with torque plate, balance rotating assembly, line hone.
Callies Compstar 4" crankshaft 24x reluctor
Callies Compstar 6.125" rods with ARP 2000 bolts
ARP main stud kit
Wiseco Forged Piston set -3cc flat top, 1.110CH wrist pins, steel top and napier 2nd ring set
Clevite H rod and main bearings
Oil galley core plug, small and large coolant plugs, and oil restrictor
I was shooting for 11.25 compression with 70cc chamber LS3 heads
I also have a used stock oil pan, pickup, with Mast windage tray and a new ported LS6 oil pump and o- ring that could go with the short block if needed. Price on those would be negotiated.

I also have the conversion kit to put this in a LS1 or 2 plus a TSP cam 229/236 622/616. Also LS7 lifters and lifter trays

I aslo have a MWC fab 9" rearend with lots of extras, MWC Stage 5 full front race suspension kit, and Wolfe Racecraft full 8,5 cage kit that I will be listing soon along with a 2002 z28 stripped stock roller and powerglide with converter, cooler, flexplate and shifter, and lots of parts from the stock setup.

If you spec this shortblock on TSP now the price is $5700.00 when I bought it was $5000.00. I am asking $4500 obo and WILL NOT ship. I live in Murfreesboro, Tn. and will drive up to 150 miles to meet if. My name is Lee feel free to call me with offers or questions. 615-653-2624

It will handle nitrous. Steel top and napier seconds rinds are good for it. 200-250 shot should be no problem with the proper tune.

your selling a lot of nice ****. but if you have a 418 you have a 4.08 bore if you indeed have a 4.065 bore you have a 416 not a 418. no difference really but its definetly something the buyer needs to know incase he desides to throw a 4.08 piston on it thinking its a 418. not hijacking or downing product I have a 418 myself and its worth every penny your asking for it. if you part out the front end and still have it in febuary I will buy the k member and control arms

I should have been more specific. Block was a new LS3 block 4.065 bore. It new has Wiseco 4.070 pistons in it. TSP calls it a 418. They have options for a .070 and .080 bore piston on their 418's.

OK I am getting many many people interested but wanting me to ship. Here is the way it will go if I am to ship this engine. Wire transfer money to me upfront. You be willing to make all shipping arrangements. I have a place for a truck to pick up the engine. You will pay all shipping and handling charges also upfront. Do not ask unless you are willing to do it this way.

I will probably check at my work to see if I can arrange shipping through them and if I can I would be willing to make arrangements.
