Edit: I have had a couple questions about the oil filter adapter. The oil filter adapter is NOT welded to the pan. The pan itself has not been modified in any way. The adapter screws/bolts on just like an oil filter. It can be unbolted and a regular oil filter screwed on in its place. A link to the adapter itself:

One of the AN fittings has been welded to the adapter itself. Again, the pan is unmodified.
