I have a used LG Motorsports G5XX cam .I have dyno time on the cam it is in great shape no issues with it going with ls3 top end so I need a different cam . specs are 248/254 613/613 on a 110 lsa asking 320 shipped

370 with 243's and this cam the heads were bought off of craigslist and "supposed" to be rebuilt but 1 had a couple bad seats and was cracked in 1 port so I sold the good head and decided to go in a different direction. we were trying to see the power on the engine dyno but it never made a good pull due to the head being jacked up it has maybe 6 pulls on it. after way low HP #s we did a compression and leak down and found the messed up head so the engine was disassembled . and I am selling what I can not use.

Just like the title and ad say it is a G5XX cam.

Very sure of the specs I worked there last year.

It is not listed on there web site it is a special order cam .

Why does the LS3 top end swap prompt a cam change? Reason I ask is I have a 6.0 LQ4 with an LS3 top end that I am looking for a cam for.

Because that cam was probably designed around cathedral port heads and won't be optimal for square ports.

Thanks OP. How do you think this cam would work out for a max effort 346ci?

The heads just respond better to a different cam . I am going to go with a custom cam 227/243 630/625 on a 114+4 My understanding is that the heads flow a whole lot better on the intake side and the smaller exhaust valve almost creates a restriction so you have to cater to that . I talked with Martin over at Tick and he got me setup.

I have seen a lot of guys make great power on this cam some almost make 70 hp just with the cam it is great with spray also. It just depends on your build I don't want to try and push it on you . It makes a ton of power in the cars I have seen it in. the cams power band is from 3000- 8200.
