Selling my custom Wiseco .015" pistons out of my 404 ls2, Machinist thinks they're -5cc. Bought the GTO knowing it had a bottom end. Had a bad rear main leak to discover the "rebuilder" put the seal in backwards. Went on to discover the cylinders were 3-5 thou out of round. Had to go to a .015" piston. Pistons cleaned up great, as you can see the rings weren't exactly seated properly.

EDIT :: For what its worth, the dish is .080" using a straight edge.

$400 shipped OBO, must go!

The rods are not for sale, sorry only pics I had of them. The pistons are 100% unmarked other than a FWD and and an arrow on the piston top. After numerous calls with TSP because the compstar crank had a tsp order number, and taking with wiseco and the piston design we've narrowed them down to wiseco. Had my machinist mic them and they are 4.010" and he was pretty certain a 4.5-5cc valve relief. I really didn't want to buy a new set of $900 JE that were.005" bigger but with the cylinders being out of round I had no other choice.

I work for Wiseco, those are a Custom set, if there is only an arrow on the top, that means they are not a shelf stock part. Cost for custom LS parts start at $950ish. I would recommend any buyer having themnskirt coated with Xylan, that will help renew the skirts and just bore it about .0005" larger to compensate for the skirt coating. Also, replacement rings and spirolocks are cheap.

If you can find the original custom order, I can pull up the specs for you.

Good luck with the sale.

Thank you so much for the clarification! I can't, i bought the gto with these in it. The original plan was the coat them with Xylan and call it good, then found out the cylinders were a few thousands out of round. Picking up my block from the machinist next week, had to hone/bore another 5 thou out to 4.015 and get a custom set from JE. Just trying to recoup half the money of the new set. Ouch.
