Does the LS2 block need an hone?

Any interest in trading for a freshly honedhot tanked Aluminum block thats 4.005?

Simply looking to reuse stock rods and pistons. Worth a shot.

Does not need a hone. Last pic of the block shows a decent shot of the walls.

Thanks for the offer, but as stated, I already have plans.

BTW, for anyone not local, I did not realize the block could be shipped FedEx ground. That makes the shipping cost a lot less than I originally thought as I was thinking pallet and freight like Yellow, R&L, etc.

What's the point/benefit/need of the undersized timing chain? I haven't seen that before...but I wasn't looking, either.

When a block is line-bored, you will end up with a loose timing chain set. The undersized chain will take up the slack. The one odd-colored link is what does it.

Just to be clear, studs not bolts. They are used. Come pick them up. We'll work something out. PM me.
