PCV system on the LS6 is a much better design ending a lot of oil consumption issues.
Not sure if I can link to another site but if you google LS6 valley cover swap you'll find an article explaining the LS1 PCV issues and a "how-to" on installing the LS6 cover and hoses. Pretty easy swap I did once before.
Problem is I'm swapping in a Katech LS3 and I didn't realize the Gen III & Gen IV valley covers were different.
