I had this cam custom spec'd by Martin to use in my daily driver. It was a 6.0L LQ4 with PRC 5.3L heads. Went 11.67 @ 119mph in my Cutlass and drove it every day, rain or shine. Made 408rwhp, unlocked, through a stalled 4l80e on a Mustang dyno. Revs to 7,500rpm no problem. Made peak power near 6,400rpm and carried it to 7,000rpm.


Reason for selling it is I had a cam bearing walk back and I lost oil pressure. Decided to build a bigger motor and give it more cam. The #3 journal got a little warm, so I had the machine shop polish the journals, check for straightness and mic everything. It's like new now.

I was a bit surprised it's on a comp core. I believe it's just a mix of existing shelf comp grinds. And you're right, great cam. It was perfect for a 6.0l daily driver on a mild stall with some gear.
