OK, I need to change turbos based on the rules of the Tex275 class. I bought my current S482 here from another member when I didn't know what class I was going to race. The rules allow an 80mm turbo with non billet wheel, or a 76mm with or without a billet wheel.

So what I need to do is either sell my turbo or trade it for a 76 or 80mm mid frame turbo. I need a full on race turbo for high hp. Even trade if possible. Or make an offer for mine.

Mine is an S482, T6 divided, 1.25 AR, Race cover. No shaft play and looks great.

Not legal. It has a 91mm compressor wheel.

I need an 80 cast or 76 billet. I know I can run an s480 cast, s476 billet, and the GT47 and GT55 turbos. Im really looking at the Turbonetics HP-78 if they are legal. Its capable of 1500hp. I am going to ask about it. The rules read a little strange. Its a mid frame but isnt listed as ok.

Froman, I'll let you know asap on your offer. I have a couple interested. The lag in timing is trying to locate a series that I can run and what their rules are. Some may allow this turbo and if they do, then I would keep it. But I am not finding anything yet.

I think so but I cant find any rules on it. Do you know where to find them? I looked at the Tex275 but Im not going to be fast enough with a stock bottom end.

I'm being told by a local guy that runs that class at SAR "As long as you're on I-275 and can make a 30-mile drive and have it insurance and registration"

I'll pm you more details
