The cam is being kept wrapped in plastic wrap with oil. I received this cam 2nd hand in a package deal from a member that decided to go FI instead. I bought the cam not doing all of my research and may be bigger than I need and I want to raise my compression a touch more. You can potentially mil .010 with this cam, but I'm shooting for .025. If you fly cut and mil to raise near 11, this cam is a monster and performs well from what I've read.
I reached out to comp due to the fear of having the whine noise and found it was ground in 2015 so there are no issues with that since the bad batch was in 2014 and the previous owner also said he didn't have that issue either. Sounds like it was installed for less than 10k miles.
If this cam sells, ill move to something smaller. If not I'll honestly keep it due to knowing what this cam can do. I just want the best match possible for my goals and this may not be exactly what I'm looking for. I havent heard a single negative review on it yet.
