Is this setup for boost or nitrous? What heads were you using?

I was not planning on spending nearly this much money either, i was just gonna replace my rotating asswmbly but if i could get this for a price i could afford this would obviously be the easier faster route for me and your add says OBO However i know youve had it listed for quite some time so i dont know if thats because your pretty firm on that price or because its used or both so im curious how flexible you might be and you can private message me on that if you like. I know with these parts cost new and I'm aware that you have a good amount of money in these parts however you can't spend what you don't have right LOL
this shortblock was a street engine that had never been tracked. i built the shortblock with 1000 hp in mind, meaning the block was fully machined, main and rod clearances was setup accordingly. rings were gapped to handle big boost. i was pushing 22 pounds of boost on this engine.

stock components are not going to handle the abuse of big boost. bearing clearances are too tight, ring gaps are too small, and of course parts are not as strong as they need to be.

if you want an engine to stay together for a hard life of boost, you have to spend the money on good parts, and the appropriate machining to handle it. just think about all of the money you have wasted just buying stock engines or components. You could have already bought the good stuff and spent the money once, and still be running without a bent rod. at some point you either quit with the hobby, or spend the neccessary money to have the combination hold together for the intended purpose.

I opted to not push this block to the breaking point and trash a good setup, but instead build a motor that would be more appropriate for the hp level.
That is the reason this shortblock is actually for sale. I wanted more power reliably, so i built a 427 LSX 6 bolt block with 6 bolt heads to support me making 1500-1600 whp with good internal parts.

You can PM me with an offer if you would like, but i don't plan on giving it away as i am not hard up for money which is why i do still have it. This is not a cheap setup, and i believe i have this priced at a more than fair price. I will accept a reasonable offer, and entertain other offers accordingly.
