ebay has them from time to time. I remember seeing them for sale at Pep Boys several years back, but they were expensive. What happened to yours?

The locksmiths around here BLOW!! LOL Nobody wants to fix mine. Mine are just shot. My car is a manual window and lock car, so you ALWAYS have to use the key to unlock it. Its a 98 so after 10yrs the key just doesnt work in them anymore. It works in the TTOPS but thats about it.
Ive tried Autozone, Oreilly and Advance, they cant even special order them.

They shouldn't fix them, they can order whole locksets that come already keyed to each other etc. They can even get a set where the one square key just like your current one unlocks the doors and works the ignition cylinder

you can take them apart, I did that on my 94. wiped everything clean and lubed it all up with graphite lube. If you aren't the type of person that tinkers away at things, I'd mess with a junk yard copy first.

Definitely an option. I can say that I NEVER use graphite in car locks only in house locks (I was a locksmith) because graphite stains EVERYTHING black, and putting it into and taking it out of your pockets can get some nasty black stains on your clothes. There is an alternative white teflon dry lube that works wonders in car locks.

This is true. Can you find the white teflon dry lube at a local auto parts store?

Hmm, I dunno on that one, I just got it through our locksmith supply company. When picking older locks that needed lube if you squirted a little graphite in there then started to rake the lock to pick it you'd shoot the graphite out of the lock all over your face It didn't take long to start looking for an alternative that didn't stain black . And you can't use liquid lube because any existing graphite or teflon turns to mud and it's quite counterproductive.

I have a pair of door locks and the trunk lock that all use the same key. PM me an offer if you are interested in them.
