WTB: 3 series rear parts Currently I have 2.73 gears in my '89 Camaro. I want to put in a 3 series carrier w/ 3.23 gears. I have a 3rd gen rear w/ 2.73s & 26 spline axles and a 4th gen rear w/ 2.73s & 28 splines, but I would like a 3 series carrier (posi), gears, and 28 spline setup so I am willing to trade carriers or complete rears.

the OP states a 4th gen rear w/2.73s and 28 splines but doesn't state if that rear is posi,if it is,you would need a 'thick gear' set made for series 2 carriers. Most ratios are available for a series 2 carrier.
the 'spacer',do a search in the 'gears and axles' forum for spacer ring gear and you won't find any positive comments suggesting their use-not recommended
