Default wtb ls2 heads to convert my ls1 over to a ls2 setup

I am wanting to convert my ls1 into a ls2 for supercharging options only. I would like to find a set of ls2 heads that are CNC ported or stock doesnt matter internaly everything is stock on my motor except a cam and im wanting to drop my compression to 8.5 thats all i know. i wont be interested unless i get pics of the heads before i purchase.

ummmm.... I think you need to do a little more research... LS2 heads won't "convert" your LS1 to a LS2... Plus, you're not going to drop your compression with LS2 heads, it will probably raise your compression actually (depending on what gasket you use) since I think they have the same cc as LS6 heads.

To get that low of compression, you're going to need some different pistons...

LS2 heads are the same as LS6 heads with the exception that LS6 came out with hollow sodium filled vavles. If my memory is correct the main difference between LS1 and LS6 is cam and heads.

The 799 casting is the same casting as the 243(LS6/LS2). And these are usually a bit cheaper. Just check the for sale section.
