WTB: headers,cam and heads 2001 Trans am ls1
Heads im looking for are maybe 243 or 5.3 or patriot or PRC. Must be C&C ported and have around a 62CC chamber. But let me know what you have...also would like a stage 2-3.

I have 243 heads on my car now with less then 5K miles.
Milled .007" and back cut valves.
I might pull them off and upgraded to TFS heads.
What are they worth to you?

are they ported or stock? What CC with the mill job? did you run the time in your sig with the heads and cam listed? any hp/tq numbers with them?

Heads were rebuilt 5K miles ago if that.
I ran 13.98@98.6 and dyno's 238/275 all stock. With the mods in my sig, I ran a 12.71@109.9. I did hit 111.3. I have no idea how much power I'm making. This is with a 5.3L in a 3900lb car.
I'll probably sell them for 400 plus shipping without springs. I plan on pulling them mid oct. possibly sooner. Depends on sell price.

I know you said you wanted ported heads, but I just pulled a set of 243s off my motor. They are unported but have PRC dual springs for .650 lift. I was told when I bought them that the heads had 10k on them and the springs had 2k on them. I have since put 5k on them so 15k on the heads and 7k on the springs.

853 Casting. Cartek LS6X Heads. Stage 2 LS1 Heads, includes full porting heads, intake, exhaust and combustion chamber. New custom stainless valves, 2.02 intake, 1.57 exhaust, seals, custom dual springs, spring seats, titanium retainers, milled .030. 10k miles. Cost 2,370.00 new.
