Car wrecked on front end..insurance is covering it but the damn body shop put a used after market non-ram air hood on..im making them go factory but they said they cannot find one..if anyone has one or can find a used factory one or a reputable clean aftermarket one id greatly appreciate it..thanks

This is why people can get $1000+ for a real GM hood now...supply and demand.

I would not settle for an aftermarket hood on a real WS6 if insurance is flipping the bill...hold out until you do find one. When my old Firehawk got hit it took 4 months to find a real Firehawk hood..but the option was find a real hood or total it. No if ands or buts.

wow, i dont think i've ever sold any of my used hoods for more than $800. i know of a few parts cars i can pick up if some of you are serious buyers.

also, how much time do I have to get a hood to you if you are ready to buy as it might take me a good 2 weeks to get the car across the country. pm me if your interested
