Default wtb: balancer install tool

Looking for a balancer install tool, such as a hawk. If anyone will sell me theirs or let me barrow it I would greatly appreciate it. I only need it one time and $63 for one is just rediculous.

I still make and sell these. They are $22.50 shipped.

Make your own.
12" piece of all thread rod with 16mm x 2.0 Standard threads.
3 nuts, 16mm x 2.0 standard threads.
A big enought washer or metal plate to go on the outside of your balancer.
Jam 2 nuts on end of all thread rod, put nut and washer on other end and thread into crank about an inch. Hold the jam nuts with one wrench and tighten the other nut with another wrench.
Heat your balancer up to 200 degrees, in water or the oven. Put alittle anti-seize on the crank snout. Should go on easy. Then put red loctite on your balancer bolt and torque to proper specs for your bolt.

Where do you get 12" rods? The shortest I can find in a decent grade are 1 meter long.

By the time you do that (find the rod and make the trip to get it)...buy the nuts and washers (fastenal wont sell you just two...you have to buy a bag of them)...cut the rod and all its a hell of a lot easier to just buy one of mine and have it shipped to your door. But at any rate your right you can easily make your own....

Dude, I'm not saying don't buy one from you.
I'm just saying you can easily make one.
You can get the bolts and nut at any supply house, or most hardware stores.

I wish I would have seen this a week ago. My brother in law is a store manager for Fastenal and even at his price and after my time I would have come out WAY ahead

97ramsst, I want to apologize to you. In no way did I want to interfere with you and the op on a sale. I just got carried away. I just made a install tool myself at work.
I got all the parts at work for free. I forget most people don't have access to these types of materials.
You do offer a very good product and a great price. If I run across anyone in the future
that needs a install tool, I'll send them your way.
