let me do some research. done. nope....its not for me its for a friend, im buying. hes paying me back. saw the differences etc....he wants the ls6. i want him to go custom, but cant change his stubborn *** mind.

If you can get a ls6(ZO6) cam 2002-2004 thats a pretty good cam.The 2001 ls6 cam is not as good.I just picked up a 2002 ls6 cam for $80 shipped.I thought that ls2 cams were different than ls1 or ls6 cams?

yeah this is for a friends build who is also supposed to be getting my 4l60e and PTC 3200 to help with one of his many builds.
yeah. I found a brand new one out of a crate ls6 from scoggins dicky that a guy is offering along with new yellow springs. he noticed the post and is suppoesd to get back with me later on this week. to answer your question yes there are some differences in between the ls6 cam and the ls2. do a few searches and youll see what I mean. the specs on the ls6 cam are 547/551 117lsa. its very mild. it is going to go into a 5.3 motor and hopefully we wil be putting a 60mm Turbonetics on that just to have a fun reliable little street car with somewhere over 500+ at the wheels in a 2900-3000 lb body with a built 4l60e behind it and a stall.

You would think these things are gold or something as Ive been looking for an 02-04 ls6 cam for the past 6 months and havent found anything!!! (People trying to sell them for $200+ is ridiculous and doesnt count either). Willing to pay decent money for one in good condition but over $200 and I might as well get a custom cam from comp. Trying to finish gathering parts for a turbo build as well. Sorry for the hijack but I get so stressed when people get one of these for under $100 no problem and Ive been looking all over the web on different ls and vette forums as well as craigslist and ebay with no luck at all
