Looking to buy a pulley install tool for installing my underdrive crank pulley

Saw that, but $22 for a threaded rod, 2 washers, and a nut? Hmmm. I'll probably end up just getting a long bolt with the correct thread pattern of M16x2.0 and making my own.

The point of the link was more to just show you what you need. Just go out and buy the same thing. Threaded rod washers and a nut. Done. This way is easier on the threads in the crank then using a longer bolt. Not that a longer bolt wont work its just a little riskier. So its up to you

The rod costs about $22...you usually have to order it because its not a in stock item (two trips to Fastenal). Then you have to go get it and cut it and all that. So you will have $24 in it when your done plus the effort. Most people dont think $22 for it delivered to your door ready to go aint bad....especialy since it cost about $4 to ship it.

But then again I am the one selling them so I could be a little biased....and thanks for posting the link!
