Default WTB= Bare/Short/long block

Looking for a nice build short or longblock nothing crazy just built with decent parts trying to stay with a aluminum block but may consider a LQ if the price is right. I would like a larger CI build maybe a 383 or 408. let me know what you have! Also=
Interested in a bare LS1/LS2 and LS6 block in good usable condition!

I have a mildly built LS1 long block for sale. It has Katech CNC heads, GTP 420 cam (.226/.226 - .595/.595 on 112 lsa), trick flow pushrods, ported oil pump, a Z06 intake manifold, and a C5 batwing oil pan. It also has an underdrive front pulley. It includes all the valve train and the valve covers. I just did a top end and bottom end inspection and while I was in there I installed a set of ARP high strength rod bolts and new head gaskets. I can also include a water pump, exhaust manifolds and a starter. Everything checks out good, valves are good and the bearings are like new. This came out of a 52K mile 2000 Corvette. $2500 plus the ride.

There is a LS1 block local to me that is ready to build (all machine work done). I've not laid eyes on it myself, nor do I know the guy, but he's had it up for sale for a while and has slowly been chipping away at his price.

Currently $250.

Just for my education, what's the difference between the 98, and later year ls1 blocks? I have no use for a ls1, I'm just curious.

I got a buddy of mine parting out his 05 GTO, LS2 with mild head work, tsp cam (233/239) comp push rods, arp head bolts, ported oil pump with 90k miles. He is selling as a turn key motor with harness, computer, and trans (auto) but he might be willing to part out if your interested
