i know it's not an LS1 car, but i thought the seat tracks might be the same for the 3rd and 4th gens and thought i would ask around here, just in case they were.

i'm in the need for 2 power seat tracks that are in good shape and work. They will be going in my '89 t/a. I know they only did power seats for the driver's side, but i'm going to also try and be creative and add a power seat (just for fun) to the passenger side...hence the reason i need two.

I had tried it before with a power track from an '82, and wouldn't you know it, both tracks are now dead.

if someone has a couple good working tracks, please let me know.

I have several I will sell you but in all fairness I can tell you they absolutely will not fit...not even close. You can use the 4th gen seats in a 3rd but you have to use the 3rd gen tracks on them. The floor boards are shaped way different.

But if you want two tracks I will take $100 for two.

bummer. thanks for being honest with me that they won't fit.

I didn't know if a 4th gen track would fit in a 3rd gen or not. i didn't know how different the floor boards would be.

so it looks like i'm stuck looking for 3rd gen specific tracks.
