I've always sent mine off to NAAKE, they do too notch work. Around 75 a shock for a full rebuild. All you would need is whatever lbs spring you want to run and they will bolt right up and are adjustable as far as height also.

I'm not sure. Was on my car when I got it and I swapped for a different style. I looked for a part # but couldn't find one stamped anywhere. Here's a pic.

Spohn Torque Arm
I have the Spohn that was on my car before I put a MWC 9" in it. It is a SKU 405 as far as I can see in Black. It has the cross member to clear Kooks True Duals and Spherical ends all around. The rear bracket is on the Moser 12 I sold. The stock one will work I believe or buy one from Spohn (65.00)
I was going to use the cross member as my drive shaft loop but if you want to pick it up (preferably) I'll sell it for $220.00 and order a MWC loop. I live 30 miles south of Houston. PM me a number if you want me to text a picture.

Yes that is basically where it mounts. I really can't answer the NVH question because I don't have any stock benchmarks to measure against. My car is tubular front to rear and was that way when I bought it. I don't have a problem with the drivability but thats all in personal preference. What I can tell you is a little difference in ride will MORE than be worth it for the advantages of a better TA over stock.
The boot is there as a dust cover. This type of TA has a slide mechanism inside the boot that allows for minimal fore and aft movement. This is to compliment suspension travel and should be a little more forgiving on the street.
