Parts needed for 01 Z06 383 stoker build
I have a few questions and also looking for some parts for my build.
The bottom end will be a TMS 383 all forged 383 Stroker.
The heads are pretty much stock LS6 heads with double springs installed by PO.
I don't know if I should reuse these springs or not.
My goal for the engine is 550-600 RWHP.
I know I will have to up the injectors.
Should I upgrade the stock LS6 Intake and TB?
Or are the heads, intake and TB sufficient for 550-600?
Parts of interest.
Fast 102 intake and TB
40-42 lb. Injectors. Must be flow matched and in really good shape.
And any suggestions would be very helpful.

If you want 550-600 you'll need a tony Mamo ported fast 102 with aftermarket CNC ported heads.
A nice sized custom 230ish cam, get with a vendor to help spec you one m
1 7/8 headers and a good flowing exhaust, probably true duals or add a cutout to a nice flowing catback.
Ls6 heads/intake will not get you over 500 by themself
520-540 is doable. Doubt you'll see anything over that to the wheels

I have a 383 that made just over 500whp on a mustang dyno with a 12 bolt. My set up was 215 trick flow heads, fast 102 intake ported by tony, nick Williams 90 throttle body, cam is a 242-246 610/613 113+4 with kook step headers. My car was running mid 10s close to 130mph. hope this helps you.
