ac pulleys
Yup, i'm one of those saps out there with shot ac tensioner and idler pulleys and a wallet not quite large enough for the dealership. If anybody has a set or even one or the other, i'm quite interested in purchasing them since it's been over 100 degrees out here for the past week and will be getting hotter soon. Thanks.

check your local NAPA or Orielly. The pulley can be replaced and they're only about $10 each. Don't know what year car you have but I found even Autozone carries them for a 1998 for $11.99. Shop around. I know DelCity Midwest City is full of Autozone. Matter of fact, there is one right across the interstate from Tinker isn't there?

Ya i went to NAPA, Autozone, O'Reilly...the ones by base and the ones out of town before i even checked the dealerships. Nobody around carries the pulley, they pulled up the part number off the pulley and nothing came up, checked the idler and tensioner for my ac unit and only came up with the main drive tensioner , specifically matched it to all of the pulleys they had in stock...nothing came up.

Damn, they are as bad up there as they are here. Autozone's online catalog even lists the pullies. You may have to special order them but they don't make you pay for them until you pick them up. You can order them online and have them shipped to the store for pickup and payment if they are the correct part. My Orielly and Autozone stores do that here. What year and model of car?
