wtb Engine and Transmission in Houston Help! Is there anybody in Houston that has an ls1 engine and tranny for sale locally in Houston? Second question, what is an approximate price for an ls1 in a junk yard? Someone told me in the $700 range, I just wantd to get 2nd, 3rd and more opinions. if you are wanting an ls1 and tranny, you better up your price about 2 more thousand. A low mileage motor and tranny hardly ever go under 2500. I have a 50xxx mile engine and auto tranny with computer and harness for 3000 if you are interested.
