WTB:Used T-56 Looking for a used T-56 from a 98-02 F-body. Must be in good condition. Looking for one for about $500-$600 or $800 shipped. Will pick up in south west and central Virginia, south central, central, and north west West Virginia, south east, south central, central, or south west Ohio, northern Kentucky, or south east Indiana

Well well well well, T56s are different. The 93-97 used a different:
1- Input Shaft
2- Transmission adapter plate.
3- Bellhousing.
Than the 98-02. Not sure if anything else is different, but by changing these parts you'll be able to use the T56 on any LT1-LS1 Engines.
Buying the parts to have your 93-97 T56 become a 98-02 or buying the parts to have your 98-02 become a 93-97 T56 ISN'T WORTH IT. So, better look for what year you need to save yourself not only a headache but money as well.
