I'm not sure if there is a difference between the LT1/LS1 version, but I have one on my LS1 car. I've got a GMMG setup with oval tips and a cut-out in the I-pipe, PLUS, I had it modified by the shop that builds them so that it is flanged over the axle (similar to the Hooker setup). That way you can take it out at the track or for misc. work very easily.
