Default Access panel for Fuel pump

I plan on cutting an access hole to remove the fuel pump but need larger piece from another vehicle to make a removable cover for the hole.

So if anyone has a spare fbody they wouldn't mind cutting a small section of the trunk deck out let me know!

Here is a link to the dimensions of the panel I am looking for:
http://www.gonicd.com/intankinstall/...mpinstall.html

I would love for the panel to go 1/2in. on all sides of the dimensions shown in the pics. just so I have a little room to play with!

Go get a .050 piece of aluminum and cut it to fit. Boat shops have it and other fabrication places. It's the easiest and lightest. If you dont want to do it I can make one for you.

Not a bad idea. Do you have any ballpark figure on how much a small sheet like that would cost?

I can get a .050 4X8 sheet for around $50, but that's through a buddy that buys in bulk. I'm sure you can get what you need for $10-20

I've got some extra .030 here also if you want me to cut one out for you.
