Rays C5

I have a 98 c5(drtive by wire) that pulls well and runs well but throttle response is'nt as responsive as I believe it should be. Is this a "98 " thing pcm wise or are there other areas I can look at to correct this? If so what areas should I address?

What's your timing like in your cruise cells? Stock or did you actually change it as you should with a cam?
