i m throwin 3 codes, help would be nice
ok i got the car scanned today at autozone and they brought up 3 codes: they are all "p" atleast thats what they said
172 - system too lean (bank 1)
174 - sustem too lean (bank 2)
507 - idle control system rpm higher than expected
i havent got clue on what to do now. any help at all would be a big help -matt

The o2's both banks indicate lean , & idle is high?
Look for a vacuum leak your problem prolly lies there.
Also make sure maf is clean & no leaks in bellows etc.

Yes , anything letting un-maf metered air in 'specially an egr tube.
You can use a hose to "hear " the leak, or spray carb cleaner at the spot & see if the motor reacts to it.

sweet thanks a ton guy, i found it, there s a hose leading into the manifold right after the sensor that melted, so that is prolly the problem, melted hoses are never good
