New MAF. SES light. tune?
i bought a slp MAF sensor and drove it for about three days and it was fine. then once i pulled into line at the track the SES light came on i was like oh great. it turned off after a few runs and came back on a few days later and went to autozone. it threw codes P0171 and P0174 which is running lean in both banks. is this caused because i did not get a tune with the new bigger MAF? If it is-should i reinstall my original MAF till i get a tune or is it fine to run it lean?

Weird... my SLP maf didn't throw any codes...and it's also de-screened. Did you get the right one for your car? You know there were 2 different ones, right? Go to www.slponline.com to check.

Do you have MAF part # 23060? SLP online.
If not, you could be getting the codes because of it. Double check your instructions. I believe you'll have them marked with an"A" or "B"

idk about the "A" or "B" but the Packing Lists (1st page of SLP instructions) says everything about part no. 23060. i also double checked the price i paid with the stock number and its 23060 not 23062 which costs a little more.
