Default Retard Timing based on IAT?

There's a table in LS1 Edit called: IAT vs MAP Timing Adjustment

In this file it looks like starting at 80kpa it pulls timing based on the IAT... correct?

If this is the case... would it be possible to set values in that table so that if the PCM was presented w/some unlikely value (90* Celsius) it would then pull x degrees of timing ?

What I'm looking at doing is a reverse IAT Tricker... I can set that table and then have resistors of varying resistance so I can set what IAT value I want... in this way when I plan on spraying nitrous I just change the resistor to one that makes the IAT read a really high value and then the PCM will pull alot of timing (100+ shot on top of my car as it stands now)

So I'm just wanting to verify my conclusion is correct... that table pulls timing based on the amount of air going in and the outside temp right?

Default Re: Retard Timing based on IAT?

I posted basically the same question last night. See my thread here:
